 Former Education CS George Magoha has passed away. The former Education CS died at a Nairobi hospital on Tuesday.  His death comes a few days after he lost his brother. The brother was also a professor. The brother's burial was set for this Saturday. Who is Magoha Prof Magoha who is an alumnus of DR Livingstone Primary School and Starehe Boys Centre and School graduated from Strathmore College and the University of Lagos, Nigeria with a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine. His journey to greatness began as an intern and rose to senior resident and clinical lecturer in surgery at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital before joining the University of Nairobi in 1988, where he became a full professor in 2000. Magoha's 91-page CV paints a picture of a man with firm roots in the education sector, with zeal and gusto for handling tasks and responsibilities in a strict and professional manner. Maize prices goes down

   Maize Prices Drop by Over KSh 200, Millers Reduce Unga, Kenya Farmers Association (KFA) director Kipkorir Menjo confirmed farmers had released their produce to the market after the busy harvesting and festive season The price of a 90kg bag of maize at the farm gate has reduced from KSh 5,000 in December 2022 to KSh 4,800 With the decline in maize prices, millers have subsequently reduced the cost of a bale of unga from KSh 2,080 to KSh 1,950 PAY . Banditry in kerio valley

 Banditry activities along the Kerio Valley has not only led to loss of innocent lives but have also derailed the economy of the region. I want to applaud the government for accepting our request to reinstate National Police Reservists (NPR) and enlist 150 more officers totalling to 450. However, more efforts needs to be done to permanently end this menace to avert more senseless killings and restore order. The National Government should be ruthless and show no remorse in dealing with the bandits.We are also rooting for permanent,compulsory and brutal disarmament to remove all weapons in wrong hands and use of technology.

 PLEASE, UNITE BARINGO LEADERS ~ Hon Chepsongol tells Baringo Senator William Cheptumo saying that there is visible division amongst political leaders in the county. He added that the leaders need to speak in one voice especially when the head of state is around. Chepsongol regretted that Baringo might end up not benefiting from mega government projects if the disunity is given room to thrive. The former Bartabwa MCA was speaking today during the pass out ceremony of CS Chelugui's son at Oldebes Mogotio Subcounty.
